I've decided that I want to take photos again. I have been looking at a few galleries and am just getting the itch. My dodgy-2nd-hand camera (Minolta XD7) is at the repair store to fix a light leak which i'm hoping is only in the lense and not the body; it's much cheaper to replace than to fix.

Ideas for photos pop up into my head as i'm doing nothing in particular, so i'll begin to write them down and execute. I'd love to learn how to take good night/cityscape photos and take more portraits - my favourite type of photo.

I guess I now have to wait and see how bad the assessment is on the camera. I'm really hoping it's fine because the first couple of rolls I shot seemed so lovely ignoring the light leaks.

Still, don't expect anything much from me for a month or so.
